Roller Derby
In the nineties, I was all about rollerblading. I would beg my parents to take their cars out of the garage so I could go round and round trying tricks I’d seen figure skaters do. I fell down a lot in that garage. If the folks weren’t in the mood to move the cars, I would drag the patio furniture against the house and just skate back and forth. My So-Called Life
When I was eleven and I imagined my future so-called love life, I was sure that I would fall for a Jordan Catalano early on but come to my senses and marry a Brian Krakow. After re-watching the series I’ve come to realize: my fiance is totally Tino. He’s much better at showing up at parties now.

I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
