I feel so many pseudo indie movies starring sensitive male artist types want to be Say Anything.  And they all fail because Diane Court had dreams and aspirations. She didn’t make silly noises and her clothes weren’t a defining part of her character.  Diane Court wasn’t anybody’s fucking muse and she sure as fuck wasn’t a manic pixie dream girl. Diane Court was the shit.  And Lloyd loved her because he was man enough to.
